In short: Fantastic organisation, superb route
In full: The hills make this challenging, the headwind made it really tough hence no good for a PB attempt.

Thought the atmostphere was fantastic and the organisation was really good. I think the people complaining about the lack of portaloos may not have realised that Greenwich Park has two public toilet blocks with about 15 loos in each.

Only criticism would be that they said we would be able to check times on finishing which actually wasn't the case and we had to wait for the times to be up on-line which took about 24 hours.

Will still definitley be doing this race next year.

In short: Not the best organised race! Not value for money.
In full: I thought very poorly organised in the following areas: no portaloos for that number of people is a disgrace. I doubt the Teahouse would have been impressed with the number of runners using their toilet. The bag storage was shoddy and disorganised and as a single woman what would I want with a man's razor and shaving kit? I realise it's "Movember" but there should have been a ladies gift bag as well. Announcements over the speaker system would have been helpful. For £17 I expected a lot more.

In short: Very well organised and friendly race - loved it!
In full: Thank goodness the weather held out to make a great race! Very enjoyable, very friendly people and an interesting goody bag for sure! Loved all the Mos. If only I'd felt better (just recovering from a virus) as it would have been a PB for sure with this route.. well, if I survived the big hills!

Thank you to everyone involved. I did the Epsom 5K too (same organisers) and these people know how to lay on a good race :-)

In short: Very well organised park run for charity...
In full: We were lucky with the weather, at 8.30am it was belting down but fortunately by race time the sun was out, though the winds were still gusting pretty strongly!

The run was three assorted loops around Greenwich Park which was surprisingly hilly we discovered! Although the initial instructions seemed somewhat complicated as you had to navigate the same paths a number of times, in reality it was quite straightforward with marshalls pointing the right way whenever you could have gone astray.

Was all on paved paths so no real problem with the wet or mud.

Support was fairly limited, which was understandable given the weather though there was some very enthusiastic cheering from some groups!

Nice medal, even nicer goodie bag, decent razor with three tubes of grooming products, plus bananas, vitamin water, sweets and chocolates raisins at the end.

Was chip timed for the serious runners, and plentiful parking was very straightforward just a few dozen yards from the start... if I had one suggestion would be to reroute the loops so that there wasn't that energy sapping hill at about 9.7km!!

All in all hard to fault and for an excellent cause.

In short: If you want a flat 10k, then this is it.
In full: Start was a little tricky and bunched - I think more effort should be made to stagger the start. This must be one of the flattest races out there - total ascent cannot have been more than 10m, so a good test of true pace. Race numbers with your name on was a nice touch and the marshalls were highly encouraging. Will certainly be returning next year.

In short: Fun run
In full: Late for registration and start, so just had a good relaxing, run with my dog, (who always enjoys the attention). Great atmosphere and thought the walkers/public were very understanding when getting out of the way!

In short: Nice scenery, nice weather, shame about the puddles!
In full: This was my first event for over a year, and I was very impressed. Putting names on race numbers was a nice touch. The course was a little congested in places, but looking at the route, I didn't expect anything else. A lovely autumnal event to blow the cobwebs away.

In short: Great scenery, shame about the early congestion...
In full: Efficient staff at the start, very scenic course, beautiful day for running and clearly labelled distance markers unlike my previous event. As mentioned elsewhere the start needs to be looked at, as it wasn't really until 10 mins or so into the race that I finally felt able to go my own pace. Passing places were at a premium in the opening stretch and with some runners sticking together in groups it was really hard to find your own space. As it was I missed my PB by 15 seconds when I probably lost about 2 minutes due to the bunching. Maybe next time we could head south down the river first, so that the field was more strung out before the need to turn? Still, I enjoyed the run and will be back next time.

In short: A very pleasant way to spend a Saturday morning
In full: Overall well organised. A larger field than I think was expected. The start was a little crowded and the section where runners were going opposite each other after the first turn was a bit of a squeeze at times. After this point though the course was excellent. Very flat, superb scenery and a great way to start the weekend. Nice early start as well. Very enjoyable. Thank you.
