In short: Flat race, but not enough for a PB due to off-road and muddy route
In full: Well marshalled; muddy race; staggered start was an excellent and smart decision; the the organisation should have pointed out more clearly that off-road shoes are the best option considering the race path(especially in case of rain the day before); initial distance markers were totally wrong; quite expensive entry fee (18.5 £) for a 10k race with no goody bag; beautiful Thames river scenery; very nice and pleasant atmosphere at the start/finish stands.

In short: Nice Flat, fast race
In full: I've done this a few times, chip timing and a staggered start sort the bunching issues out. Plenty of mud and puddles along the route and slippery in places. Well organised and pleasant marshalls, my only gripe was that the distance markers bore no relation as to the correct distance! 1k came up at 500m 5k was in fact 4k. Other than that a nice morings run!!

In short: Fast, flat and pretty.
In full: Well organised race that would suit PB hunters and beginners alike. Really nice to run the whole route along the Thames, especially on such a nice day. My only gripe would be that the atmosphere was not brilliant (the martials were excellent but every other runner seemed to wearing an iPod and that always reduces the banter along the way!). Oh, and best of all was the sausage sarnie I had at the end. Marvelous!

In short: The hills are challenging especially 3rd time around
In full: Very well organised, great atmosphere, encouraging marshalls. The hills are difficult and you will feel them but all in all a very good race.

In short: Tough but enjoyable race
In full: I did a 10k in Greenwich park back in 2008 and that took in 2 runs at the hills, this race took in 4 so it was hard going. I enjoyed the challenge, the marshalls were encouraging and the park looked great. Like the Saturday rather the usual Sunday of similar events. Definitely do again, not for beginners.
