In short: Good race, great sea front running, big thanks to organisers and marshalls
In full: The hill at 3-4 mile point always hurts but you make up the time on the downhill part, the rest is flat. Luckily wind was behind this year from beachy head to the harbour. Shame there isn't more support but with it being mothering sunday I guess many were on duty! It was twisty through the harbour but great fun. Well done to the organisers as we all know how much hard work goes into organising such an event and with it being traffic free there wasn't much to worry about. Will be back for sure

In short: A complete waste of time, effort, money.
In full: I think i turned up by mistake. Terrible organisation - 5 portaloos for an expected 1500 runners plus support, no changing facility as advertised, bag room was 6 feet square. Now the water stations - at the end - who let their granny and her friend be in charge? They were not keeping up with demand when there were surely loads of others to help. Other water stations saw small children risking their lives to hand out water - not a good idea. The route was drab and depressing - it even included running up a muddy bank to get back onto the road!
After the slick organisation of a local half the week before which cost less and gave out t-shirts for free I am not sure what my hard earned £20 was for - back-handers? paying the small children's pocket money?
Attendants should be encouraged to support - something done by about 50%. And please put up signs or change the route so that the visiting pensioners can get out of the way rather than almost get run over on narrow bridges.
I won't be attending this one again. (funny that)

In short: Not sure about this one
In full: I love Eastbourne, having lived there for several years, and am mystified that after a nice plod to Meads and back, the route went throught the pit of despond that is the Marina. It is just like Day of the Triffids, lots of houses, no people. Lovely marshalls, friendly runners, change the route please!
