In short: Much improved on last year and now a really good event
In full: Last year was not bad but this year all the slight flaws had been ironed out: better, faster and wider course; chip timing at start and finish; better bag storage; public toilets nearby; better designed t-shirt (no "Finisher" on it). Will continue to run this race in future years as not many other 10K races in central London at this time of the year and the cooler weather meant I ran a new pb.

In full: Enjoyble run flat and you always knew where to run, very quick! i smashed my pb :) lots of quick runners too. start is a bit narrow going over chip mat but plenty of room after that. weather was great - cold but sunny. Would run it again for sure!

In short: great run for both beginners and experts
In full: This was my second year running this race and I will be back again next year. It's a great location and the new route was ideal for a PB as it was two simple loops around the Serpentine. Scenic and flat. The charity also did a really great job of making us feel welcome with plenty of marhsals cheering us on through the race and lots of clapping and encouragement for the sprint to the finish. I even had a few marshals come up to congratulate me at the end so I felt like a real winner! Good goody bag as well. A top race.

In short: Well organised fast, scenic in the center of London
In full: Great 10K and fast enough to set a PB. A beautiful sunny Sunday morning added to what is already a great central London run. Just enough runners to create an atmosphere but not too many to be crowded. The only down side is you are running on shared paths so there is a bit of toursit dodging.
Simple, no fuss organisation. A definite must do if you can get into London.

In short: A well organised run in one of London's best parks. I'll be back next year
In full: This was one of my favourite runs this year. Not just because it's a great location and they were blessed with great weather. But it was the atmosphere that made it for me. There were enough runners (c500) to make it feel like a big event but also it somehow felt like quite personal, I think because of the great effort made by the volunteers. I saw marshals at the starting area actively walking around checking that runners were OK and looking for people to help. And the lack of a queue for the loos was nothing short of a miracle for anyone who has been to many past 10Ks! But more than that, the marshals around the course, really went out of their way to cheer you on and even made a slow coach like me feel special! It also seemed like a great "all rounder" event since I heard a lady next to me say she had achieved a PB while I was running with 2 friends for whom this was their first ever race. And they definitely caught the bug! We'll all be back next year.

In short: One of my favourite races. Will be back next year
In full: This is one of the few 10Ks in central London and Hyde Park makes for both a scenic and fast race so there is plenty of opportunity for a PB (I heard a few runners around me saying they had achieved this). The course has improved since last year so it was two simple loops around the Serpentine. The organisation was also very slick this year with quality goody bags (medal, T shirt, sports drink and several energy bars etc all in a "bag 4 life") and tonnes of marshals who really went out of their way to cheer us on and make us feel special (all to often at other races you see marshals just chatting to each other or on the phone!). I'll be back again next year.

In short: Great race. will definitely do again
In full: This was my second year doing this race and it was even better this year. The course was two laps around the serpentine and so very picturesque and also very simple to follow. As other have said, it was also well organised with plenty of loos, a good goody bag and plenty of water, marshals etc. What really made it for me though was the support. The marshals were great at encouraging us on and telling us what a great job we were doing which was really uplifting to be honest (I was suprised at what a difference it made). I even had volunteers coming up to me at the end and congratulating me and even thanking me for supporting the charity. All in all, it really made a difference and I felt I was part of something special. Will be back again next year!

In short: Great venue/ course with pb potential
In full: Circuit mainly around the Serpentine lake in Hyde Park so traffic free (apart from pedestrians, etc!) and great scenery. Pretty flat so PB potential. Support though v sparce and could do with some noise/ music at the finish. Start very odd trying to squeeze 300 runners through a six foot gate.

In full: Having set myself a racing challange of 50k's worth of charity runs this year this was my last 10k and well worth being part of. Fewer entries made for more space and the opportunity to 'buddy' up with other runners, all of which were very friendly. I'd definitely recommend this to a beginner (even if the rest of the field looked like seasoned marathon whippet-eque athletes!

In short: Well organised race with great scenery and nice sized field
In full: I really enjoyed this race. The field wasn't too big (about 400), which meant you didn't get in each others way too much at the start, but there were still enough runners to help spur you on. Hyde Park looked great early in the morning and the route of the two lap course was sensible with no over tight corners. It has PB potentail, because there are no hills of real note in Hyde Park. Slightly expensive for a 10k, but then it's for charity, so fair enough for them to charge a bit more than the non-charity events.
