In short: Very tough, but a fab race
In full: This was my first half marathon, and it was hard work! The organisation was fantastic, and the marshalls were lovely. I'm a particularly slow runner and found myself running on my own at the back from about mile 2. However, I really enjoyed it and the support from the marshalls was fab! I'm looking forward to giving it another go next year and hopefully not finishing last!

In short: Hot, Hilly, lovely little race
In full: Loved the course and the set up. Very friendly all the way through. Loved the fact this is not a huge event i.e easy parking, drinks, finish line etc etc. tough course but will defo be doing next year. Well done everyone today.

In short: Very pretty course, lots of dusty farm tracks, more undulating than expected!
In full: My first time for this event which is very local for me. The atmosphere was really good, quite informal although there appeared to be a hell of a lot of very athletic looking people which was a bit intimidating! Marshalling was done by local volunteers and school children and they did a very good job on a blistering hot day. Very welcoming finish area with excellent post-race support and a nice, family fun atmosphere. Would definitely make this one an annual trip although I think it would be a lot less pleasant in the wet.
