In short: Excellent atmosphere when you burst onto the finish area
In full: Good blend of terrain and plenty to get your teeth into.

Faultless organisation.

Excellent atmosphere at the race finish and plenty to do afterwards. BBQ impressive.

In short: Good fun, lots of variety, plenty of shade, nice ups-and-downs, BBQ, lots for family to do.
In full: My first run for a number of years and thoroughly enjoyed this one. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a variety of challenges over 5 miles. Most of it is through sandy woodland which was pleasant underfoot and provided plenty of shade.

Interesting finish with a short (50 metre) climb up to the school playing field, with panoramic views across the bedfordshire countryside.

I've entered again this year, not sure I'll do less than 40 minutes again though, I put that down to the excitement of racing again. At least I'll be ready for the 'interesting' finish this year.

The family loved the summer fayre and we stayed all afternoon - good weather, good run and a good day out.

In short: Only got 1/2 way last year but organisers picked me up and took me to finish. And I still got a goody bag!

In short: Great race, nice course. Loved the gentle rolling hills in the woods. Great goodie bag too!!
In full: Really enjoyed this race. It's not a hugely tough course but a nice run through the woods, at the time my best for 5 miles was 39 mins and did this in 41 mins.

Goodie bag consisted of medal, t-shirt and liptonice drink (an acquired taste!) so fantastic value. Puts a lot of established races to shame!!

In short: A tough, but fantastic race through picturesque Bedfordshire woods. Certainly the toughest 5 miles I've run.
