In short: Decent choice for first ever 10k
In full: My first race since a half marathon 20+ years ago!

Has a long climb on the golf course, but otherwise quite nice, away from roads on the Moor Park estate. Good atmosphere and with stewards on corners, nice and friendly, two water stations. Shame the Metropolitan Line was closed for engineering works as wouldn't have needed to drive there (replacement bus awkward).

Good if you've got friends/family watching as there's a couple of circuits of the sports field at the start before you get on the road.

Will do again as fairly local to us.

In short: My third time at this event and the hill still gets me, really enjoyable race though! Great organisation and atmosphere despite the wet and windy weather this year. Will definately be back next year

In short: Hilly course, but well suppported. Quite scenic!
In full: You wouldn't expect a day in late September to be so hot! It was a beautiful sunny day, probably a little too hot for running (in my opinion). The course was quite hilly after the first 2k, up until 5k as we travelled over and through a golf course. The second half of the race was downhill, and through some residential areas with some gorgeous houses to look at! People came out of their houses to cheer us all on, and one family even put out a water station. Very well recieved. Overall a good race, but it felt hard at the time. It was for all abilities, and there were quite a few walkers too.

In full: Hard going in the hot temperature but a very pleasant route and well organised event. I seemed to do the first 1 km very quickly and then the second 1 km very slowly so wasn't convinced by km markers (and then hit the hill) which through timing out somewhat but overall good value and location.
