In short: Nice race with no traffic. In full: Sunny day helps! Even though fairly flat, not as easy as it looks. Gentle slopes that go on and on (but what goes up must come down!) Easy parking. Nice medal and shirt. Enthusiastic crowd. Date of review: October 5, 2008

In short: Good fast race with good organisation. In full: One of the better organised races with a top goodie bag. A small change in the course due to works around the park did not detract form what is a good, traffic-free run in nice surroundings. Furthermore, the general public lending encouragement was a lift.
I did not see all the distance markers but that happens on lots of races.
Well done to all involved and give yourselves a pat on the pack. Date of review: October 5, 2008

In short: great run in the Autumn sunshine In full: Sefton Park looks at its best on days like this. Did a disappointing time myself, but this was well organised, relaxed, and an extremely enjoyable run to be in. Good easy parking, no problems at the start, clear distance markers, good T Shirt. In short: Enjoyable and scenic! In full: This was my first Sefton Park race and I really enjoyed it. Was quite nervous at first, but very happy at my time of 54 mins. Now just signed up for Liverpool half marathon, just have to start training..... Date of review: October 11, 2007

In short: Another fine Run In full: 3rd time I've run the Liverpool 10k and the second time in Sefton Park. Good weather again for Oct. Good Parking, if your an early finisher you can get away early. Good Course mixing flat sections with some disguised up and down hill sections. Saw all of the km markers. The quality of the competitors appears to be falling as a sub 40min run would finish in the top 100. Good medal and T-shirt for those who like that kind of thing. Hopefully 2008 Capital of Culture will see more people and faster times (hopefully the 2005 course will be back, fast and flat). Date of review: October 10, 2007

In short: Enjoyable race on a lovely day. In full: Excellent race with most of the course passing through two of Liverpool's loveliest parks. I get slower each year, but at least that gives me more chance to enjoy the scenery. Also appreciated the fact that I was able to get away from the course quickly after the race, a sharp contrast with the Liverpool half-marathon car park fiasco.
