In short: Good value and friendly.
In full: The race is value for money when you consider the City of Manchester run which went off at around the same this morning costs £17plus and you still get the same type of cotton t-shirt. The crowd were very supportive and friendly as were the stewards but I do have a gripe: what is the point of having stewards seated 15 metres from road junctions and roundabouts and leaving the runners to fend for themselves. I did enjoy the race and would like to congratulate the good people for their efforts. Thanks again.

In short: challeging run
In full: nice race with some differcult hills in . just two moans the barriers need to be taken out and the marshals need to be a bit more force full with drivers at least getting them to slow down . other than that enjoyed race

In short: Apart from the congestion at the barriers leaving the park, this was a brill morning!
In full: Everyone was cheerful, great atmosphere. Ran with a first timer, and they've caught the running bug and already book into a Marathon in 2011! Wish I'd made more of the Gala...Superb organising, worthy cause. Thanks!

In full: Potential for a good time here as not really any significant hills to speak of. If you like green fields & country lanes then this run is not for you. It is housing estate & industrial estate. That said it is a fab day out as is run in conjunction with the Gala...lots of stalls, massive fun fair, classic cars...you name it, it's there. Could do with a bit of a longer prize list...2nd, 3rd, Vets?? Lots of support from marshalls & locals. A well organised first race. Keep it going.

In short: My first competitive race and well worth it even if undulating seemed slightly misleading. Good atmosphere and well run.

In short: Well organised charity event
In full: Bargain at only £5 and all going to Cancer Research too! Considering it's the first time this race has been done it was fantastically well organised. Would definitely do this one again. Not really a club runners event and it was great to see so many novices out there raising some money. Well marshalled, great atmosphere - I hope it becomes an annual event!!

In short: Lovely, friendly and informal race
In full: A small, local, friendly event. Marshalls were very encouraging and good at pointing the way and controlling the traffic. Local people were on hand to give out bottles of water, cheer you on and play music from speakers placed in their garden. Bit of a queue to get through the barriers out of the field near the start but everyone took it in good humour. Generally good, all round, friendly, informal feel to the race. Definitely undulating. Bargain at £5 with a medal!
