In short: Worth getting a PW for In full: What can be said that hasn't already? The best atmosphere at any race I've encountered. So many entered into the spirit of the event with fancy dress. The parking, number pick up, bag storage all worked like clockwork. The pace was slowish to start but picked up as the field spread out. Not an easy course, steep in places and some long inclines but the views were stunning. Great long downhill to the finish. Great medal, tech t shirt, BBQ, more wine all included. Faults? We have to wait a year until the next one. Date of review: September 15, 2015
In short: Go with the flow (of wine) and you will have a great race In full: A great way to spend a sunny Sunday in the Surrey countryside. Last time I did this race was a few years ago and it has got even better. Organisation at the start and around the course was brilliant (thank you marshals), and the whole vibe excellent. As someone who runs a lot (although not normally dressed as a gorilla), what really makes this race is the number of new runners and runners of all abilities - this is what we need to do to show people why we love this sport so much Date of review: September 14, 2015

In short: Outrageously good in every way In full: Stunning organisation, wonderful atmosphere, friendly, supportive marshals and runners, brilliant food and drink, amazing fancy dress. Scenery to die for on a beautiful multi-terrain course. My first half marathon, and in a million years I would never have dreamt that I would smile the whole way round, sing at the pit stops, drink sparkling wine with nuns and schoolgirls, and dance over the finish line to the rocking sound of Footloose. This has ruined my chances of wanting to run other races! Without doubt the best day of running I will ever experience.
