In short: A Sunday well spent
In full: Overall I enjoyed this race and there was a good atmosphere at the start/finish line. Only gripe was the timing chips: something wasn't right with the computer and it seems that not everyone's results were being recorded accurately. Just looked at the race results on the website and I am listed as not even having run!! Unless that was a dream and my aching legs are lying ... Pity as otherwise excellent day out.

In short: Excellent
In full: I did this race in 2009 and this year came back for more.

It was and is still a fantastic race, and the marshals were great. They deserve a mention.

Otherwise pretty much what everyone else has said. Lovely course, great facilities, better parking this time round and good momentos.

In short: Very good pre-marathon dress rehearsal
In full: I really enjoyed this race despite it being 20 miles! Very good organisation and the marshalls were extremely encouraging and supportive. There were sufficient water stations and the whole route was pretty much flat apart from the odd inclines but nothing to worry about. I was very relieved at the massages that were available at the end, a complete godsend! I would recommend this highly to anyone participating in a spring marathon, you'll certainly know what you've let yourself in for when you've done this!

In short: Good pre marathon 20M with nice atmosphere
In full: 2nd time I've done this 20M and it is pretty flat with a nice stretch between miles 5-7 and 15-17 which helps those tired legs. Good water stations with water, energy drink and jelly babies and free energy gels at the start.

Marshalls were really motivation and clapped everyone. I think I took a 1min off my previous PB so am happy.

Could do with starting half an hour earlier though and race instructions only coming out a few days beforehand left me nervous that I was actually IN!

In short: That was a totally brilliant 10-mile event!
In full: A massive thank you to the great marshals who were super encouraging, cheerful and friendly. Good job !!!
I was a tail ender on the 10-mile and the 20-mile competitors were really friendly, thanks guys. I’m glad the runner who said he wouldn’t lap me kept to his word (mind you I hadn’t been in long before the winner of the 20 mile came in…gulp).
Loads of water stations with Jelly Babies, great route, lovely technical T-shirt, chip timing and I didn’t have to queue for the loos (which were stocked, clean and had hand-washing facilities. It’s not often that can be said at an event).
Zoom Tri this was an excellent event, top score !!!! I’ll be back next year simply because this was so well organised.

In short: lovely race - just made my holiday!
In full: I must admit, I only ran this because I've been staying with family on the south coast and wanted a race at the end of the week. Luckily the race distance matched my VLM training plans, and with such a pleasant, well organised race, I'll be tempted to drive the 240 or so miles next year to do it again!
Marshals were excellent, drinks stations excellent, I especially liked the option of water or energy drink, the route was teasing straights and curves of the local narrow roads, traffic control second-to-none.
With a proper wicking t-shirt, very good value, thanks to all involved!

In short: Brilliant AMAZING marshalls
In full: really good race, quick nice course - two laps of the 10 mile course. Pretty flat - very mild incline but absolutely no hills. Round of applause for the marshals. They were all amazing, always encouraging and really stood out compared to marshal's at other races. They really made the difference for this being an excellent race rather than just very good
