In full: As others have said, the start was crowded and the support was quite scarce in places. It'd have been nice to see more of Liverpool city centre during the run but the parks were lovely, as was the run along the waterfront.
Although not my favourite race of all time it's given me a new PB and I have no major gripes, the goody bag was great and overall organisation was good.

In short: Too expensive for what it was, course was poor
In full: I was hoping for a good event, but was disappointed. Start far too narrow and 90 degree bend within 50m of start!!!!! Course was boring and not the fast and flat that I had been led to believe, support on the course was very limited and no atmosphere at all. Road surface in the parks was sub standard, and what was the underpass and ramps all about???? Passing over to the waterfront was overgrown and not cut back. Loads of corner cutting and running over traffic islands. Best bit was our hotel overlooked the Start/Finish. Very disappointed and won't be back.

In short: Got my pb at 1hr 33
In full: Dissapoinred in some parts.Too packed at the start with daft runners scalling barriers far too cramped.Support fairly sparse at times. No isotonic drinks just water very dissapointed what withthe price of 29 pounds.Run along the mersey was the best part.Won't be back for a few years Leeds half a lot better race the crowds at Leeds are amazing.Car parking rip off £5 to park near the start.I paid £8 plus in the city centre as advised. Why not £2 runners throughout city.Just felt conned.

In full: First time at this event and loved it. My only real grumble was no pens for times. For club runners if this continues, you definately need to arrive early.

In short: Very enjoyable race, great course with mix of city and parks
In full: A bit crowded at the start, but I understand the start location will move next year - a victim of its own success. Likewise at the end but no real problem and once again well organised and fun. The home straight was great with crowds cheering either side that made even a plodder feel like a real athlete for a moment.

I know some have complained about the goody bags and t-shirts, but all I can say is I got mine fine and I like the orange t-shirt.

In short: This event improves year on year.
In full: This is a great race and I always look forward to it. It feels like the start of my running year. The whole atmosphere is good from start to finish, with the crowds giving grear support along the way. Well done to the organisers for putting on such a great race.
