In short: Organised.... REALLY
In full: Very poor organisation. No signs which queue to be in other than getting to the front and being told 'WRONG QUEUE'. My name wasn't on the list having registered online. Race start wasn't organised to say the least and the announcer wanted to be somewhere else. Why run two laps and then back pedal when you could start at further round and then simply just go through the exit?

Finish was horrific. Having been told to run in lanes 5-8 i did so but everyone else simply ran in lanes 1-2 meaning that the race marshals didn't know who had finished.

I only realized today that there was a goody bag, t-shirt and a medal...

In short: The organiser was a funny chap!
In full: It's good as a 10k test at the beginning of Jan, which is what I wanted to get from this race. Otherwise don't bother. Four laps around a park is pretty boring.

In short: You pay for what you get
In full: This is a cheap enough race at £10 and you get a medal and a t shirt, plus a goodie bag! The course is flat and repetative and could do with chip timing. I lapped one person twice and they finnished 10 meters behind me!! It was very cold at the staet and being held waiting was not helpful plus no water at the finish.

In short: Too slow to start ............
In full: After 2 laps of the recreation ground, route became boring.
Not sure what was happening at the start but it seemed to take forever to start the run.
Goodie bag was pants. Just an apple and a sweatband (why bother)?
Medal and t-shirt made the race worthwhile. Wouldn't do it again though, too boring.

In short: Dull, confused and wont bother again
In full: 2 1/2 laps of the track where you are overtaken as a beginner and then have to double back to exit, why they just did not start us further round so u could just leave the track and exit I will not know. Bored of running a further 4 laps of the park dogging fast runners and dogs, thank god I met Keith a run coach who spurred me on. A complete beginner walked off, at the end a further 2 laps of the track and when I asked a volunteer about the people still out there he said IF WE WAITED FOR ALL YOU SLOW RUNNERS TO FINISH WE WOULD BE OUT THERE ALL NIGHT - Is that not the point of voulenteering, otherwise don't bother as I felt like I had held him up from his sunday roast grrrr. Would not do again or encourage anyone after that response from a voulunteer.

In short: Local flat run with good standard of competition,medal,t-shirt,banana and water so good value for £10 and the distance was correct even though slightly over.
In full: An improvement on last year as the distance was over 10K (10.13)and organisation was slightly better but still a long wait to collect number from entry desk.I thought the route was better and going around the bank of the athletics track and out of the side gate into park was an improvement on going out of the main entrance.
Atmosphere was ok for me as i ran it with a group of running friends and you just had to avoid dog walkers and children on bikes/scooters on a few occasions around the park.In general not bad value for money for £10 and actually quite enjoyed the four laps of the park so will be back next year.

In short: Commentator at the beginning of the race was very grumpy. Not the clearest finishing area.

In full: The start and finish lines were not at all clear. Only found out today (Monday 16th) that there was a goody bag at the end, there was no one at the finish to direct people where to go to get water and or goody bag. At the end i had the suspicion that the race was over 10 k and this seems to be the case.
