In short: Super slick organisation! Superb race.
In full: Extremely well organised race with more marshals and volunteers than I have EVER seen.. a LOT of work has clearly gone into this event. Some lovely touches and an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. There are public toilets further down the seafront which had very short queues and I didn't have a problem. There will always be loo queues at races when EVERYONE wants to go at the same time! Did find it very crowded for the first few miles though and struggled to get into my pace. My own fault for not getting into the right start zone - but I wouldn't like to see the numbers increase much more on this year. It would be a shame to spoil such a great event with overcrowding. It's a fast and pretty course and perfect for beginners - but the bit at the end where you run past the finish, but still with 3 miles to go is soul destroying! Not worried about not getting a medal, but a nice t-shirt than you can wear for training (rather than decorating) would have been nice. That aside though, lovely day, great weather and brilliant race. Well done Lucy and the team.

In short: Sussex Beacon
In full: Excellent organisation ... water stations well manned , plenty of stewards and the baggage collection was quick and prompt. Views of Brighton were great and good crowds only disappointment was the goody bag ... where were the goodies :-)))

In short: Coped well with a large increase in runner numbers
In full: As always, a very well organised event, even with what seemed to be a big jump in numbers this year. Small changes in the course vs last year (especially between 3 and 4 miles) were an improvement. Could do with a few more toilets at the start. Can't get too worried about the lack of medal - perhaps better to make it clear next year that there won't be one and those for whom it is important can act accordingly

In short: Gets bigger every year but organisers cope well. The lack of toilets meant that even more people use the beach. Not nice for local people. Another pb on this course so very happy.

In short: Another fine race down by the sea in lovely conditions
In full: I always know Spring has arrived when this race comes round. This is my 3rd year doing this and it is safe to say now it is my favourite run on the circuit. We were again blessed with glorious weather and I never tire of the long stretch down by the seafront and the great view of the cliffs down by the mariner. Again, the organisation was terrific and well done to baggage handlers and marshalls who were out early in the morning to set up and help out, great job. The goodie bag was excellent too.Yes, a medal would have been nice to show the kids, but doesn't detract from what was a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable day.

In short: Toilets Toilets Toilets!!!!
In full: I would forgo the T shirt which lets be honest you look a little sad wearing AND the medal for a few more toilets at the start! I barely made the start on time due to the Q for the loo. For £20 Id expect more.

Its a lovely run though isnt it? You just look out to see and the miles roll by.

Oh - and to the lady in the red Harriers top who "spitted & gobbed" her way around the course - you should be utterly ashamed of your filthy self.

In short: Great organisation and fast course
In full: Had a lovely time running next to the sea. The organisation was very good for a large run. I normally shun large, city runs but this certainly did enough to get me signed up again next year!

T-shirt was great quality but I was disapointed there was no medal.
