In short: AMAZING!
In full: Well Done Race Organisers and a massive Thanks to all the spectators that were on route, The re-freshing hose pipes were very welcoming. No PB for me this year, but I am still pleased with my finish time as it was rather warm today! Be back next year for more.

In short: Good race, tough in places.
In full: Enjoyed the race, the support all the way was really good with people handing out ice pops and jellys. Th hose pipes were nice too. The race has some hills especially near the end but it aso has a few downhills to compensate. Good goody bag with a t-shirt and a plate. Managed to get a silver medal so fairly pleased leaving room for improvement next year.

In full: Sun was out but thank goodness not too hot. This is a really good race with brilliant local support. Appreciated the hosepipes cooling us down around the course. Some of those hills are a killer but makes the course more interesting.Good goody bag as well. Only one small niggle...need more toilets at the start, but none the less really enjoyed it and got a gold medal so i'm happy. See you all next year.

In short: Its hard, particularly the hill at the end
In full: 1st time entered, did it as part of a relay time. I did the 3rd leg (4.7m) which was okay. The killer on the course if the final 1.7 which includes an nasty uphill, particularly as it was a warm and muggy day.
Reception in the town centre at end was brill, we had 3 relay teams and we all crossed the line together. In local paper, the organisers have said they are going to review the race, see if its too hard as they want to get the numbers up, which may be a good idea.
People of stoke on trent were very friendly and let us use their loos when we were all standing waiting at the relay change over points.
Only negative comment, is that the mile markers were very sporadic and there was a definite lack of marshalls.
Next year I am entering as individual.
