In short: Lovely race through the countryside and Clumber Park - plenty of gentle undulations to keep you interested.

In short: Last year was first ever half so Workop is always special
In full: I would recommend this to club & beginners. A good all round race and good atmosphere. Just wish people would start in their proper time zones to save the zig zag at the start.

If people are not going to enter due to the ipod ban- your loss. The ban was there last year and is announced at many races. You get knocked down by a car which you didn't hear - who is liable ?
Enjoy you running

Hi to the chap from Germany ( I think he was anyhow)

In short: The no ipod rule ruined a great event.
In full: My 5th and last start at this event. I have really enjoyed running at Worksop but won't be doing so again. The no MP3 player announcement on race day was a real down side. Don't talk to me about health and safety I'll go somewhere else or just not run organised events.

In short: A great race, challenging but enjoyable. lovely scenery and friendly people.e
In full: I really enjoyed this race, only my 2nd half marathon. People were great and other runners were chatty and offered support all the way around. Thank you to the lady at mile 8 who ran with me a couple of miles and lifted my spirits. Will definately be bak again.

In short: A brilliant Half Marathon that I will now try to do every year.
In full: Although I have run many Half Marathons this was my first time at Worksop. It is now added to my top ten of races to do every year. A great course with good scenery and some challenging hills. Plenty of water stops and friendly encoragement. Great T-Shirt as well! Glenn

In short: Hilly to start with - can be temtping to go for it, and the run out of steam during the last couple of miles. Great Race though!

In short: A brilliant race and I got a pb by 5 mins!
In full: Really enjoyed this race, quite undulating at the beginning but nothing too hard. Got a massive pb which I wasn't expecting will be back.

In short: bit of a rolercoaster, up and down, pretty bad at the time but great feeling after
In full: Hill at the start is a biggie, just nice to know it's the other way on the way back. Pretty challenging course and felt first half was repetitions of climb and recovery so it's reasonably challenging but worth the effort. Nice surroundings and easy to just switch of and go on autopilot. didn't really prepare properly and i could tell. Got PB but next year i won't rest so much after the Robin Hood!! recomended to all - but i do agree with the comments on ferocity of the IPod ban - personally not for me but i think if you need/want it then use it :-)
