In short: Fun and Run should be an oxymoron.... but applies perfectly to this race - loved it

In short: Fantastic Event and a Great Laugh
In full: This course is best if you leave tour watch at home and just enjoy the event. With the mud and water it makes it tough but you just keep on going as their is always somebody to pull you out. The goody bag was excellent. Organised to the heighest standard. Thank You

In short: Mudfest of a Fun Run, A Race for All.
In full: :-)

Nine mile cross country in a fun run stylee. Not too challenging and slow enough at the back. The faster you run though the more likely you are to have a hot shower !

In short: Concerns about route change - Needn't have worried
In full: A regular on this race so don't know what else to add. Yes I missed the river from last year but was glad to see adequate alternatives were found, A few hidden surprises. Glad to see a slighty different challenge

In full: Excellent new route which has got rid of all the bad bits. Mud was excellent but, yet again, we had trouble at the mudbath pinch point! After a huge wait last year, I timed it this year and it was 21 minutes of queueing! People were fed up and shivering. If this is the only possible route, could the whole process be speeded up a bit? But I'll still be back next year! Thanks to the brilliant marshalls, I hope they enjoyed it as well!

In short: One of the best
In full: You won't get a better atmosphere than this. A moving 2 minute silence, then the last post, and then off! It's hard but not too hilly, so you can race it or take it easy. The mud is brilliant fun (and there is plenty) and the organisation and marshalling a first class. Definitely one of the very best in the UK.

In short: Super Smashing Great
In full: Great atmosphere and friendly runners. Moving 2 mins silence. Muddy to the extreme. First but certainly not the last time I will enter. My new trail shoes are well and truly christened.

In short: Another winner!
In full: The course this year was sort of in reverse of last year, with a few added watery touches! An absolute blinder of a race - definitely the best one of the year! Lots of laughs, glorious mud (well I thought it was mud!?!) superb marshalls, great entertainment value for runners - a smile had by everyone! Roll on 2010!!!! Well done Bitton - you are heading for No 1!!
