In short: excellent marshalling/post race facilities.
In full: the marshalls were very good and incredibly
supportive-thanks to you all it is much
appreciated.slightly congested in the early
stages but what lovely running conditions.
the cars/traffic is slightly hazardous in
places and again numerous runners completely
disregarded the no mp3 rule-idiots.
the finish is great and a nice hot shower was
most welcome-cheers to the bag storage team.
one small gripe though, I finished in 3 47 so
was surprised to be told no medium t-shirts
left, they had all gone. why fill in what
size I want then have it written on my number
if not enough in my size has been ordered.
normally dont care about this if its a cheap
cotton one but these looked good and the
small I was given makes me look like the
only gay in the village bloke !!
anyway, my running oppo reduced his pb
from 3 39 to 3 32 in his 57th marathon so
a memorable day.
to repeat-marshalls, fantastic.

In short: My first on-road non-big city marathon and I loved it!
In full: Huge thanks to the organisers of this race. Fabulous facilities at the start/finish area and minimal queues for the ladies for a change. Marshalls supportive and helpful. Technical t-shirt. Just the right sort of goody bag. And of course I'm not in the slightest bit influenced by the fact that I got a PB ;-)

In short: Excellent start/finish venue. Friendly and well organised.
In full: It was great starting and finishing on the track. Most of the scenery was enjoyable, although running alongside traffic was tricky at times especially for a short stretch towards the end heading back through the town. The marshalls were great and support along the route, although limited in numbers was enthusiastic and uplifting. There was a good spirit to this event, and the hot showers at the end made it feel even better going home. Just be prepared for the (extra long!) half mile or so through the grounds of the club when you think you are back in the stadium and about to finish!
