In short: Charging for the results leaves a sour taste
In full: The organisation was very good, and seemed to be able to cope with the increased entry.
However the decision to charge a further £2 for the results was a big mistake. Help the Aged have done their cause no favours with this petty action.

In short: Chilly but worth it!
In full: I found this race to be my best yet, perhaps because i got a PB. the weather wasnt great but the atmosphere more than made up for it. i did it on my own but i could see teams of people cheering each other on which was nice to see. And i got a lovely t-shirt! what more could you ask for; PB, t-shirt and a drink!! will def do it again next year and hopefully do another PB!!

In short: Good fun despite the chilly weather. Had a bit of a cold, but I don't think I can blame the organisers for that. I suppose I could try.....

In short: £2 for results rip off
In full: Why not add the cost of getting the results to entry fee then put full results online asap after race so everyone can see how they did without having to wait days for posted results.

In short: Pay for results - why ?
In full: Nice quick race - only toilets in Train Station, no drink station but good race - however object to having to pay for full race results particularly as we were given a chart for people guest your time and pay £1 (prize of £10) - how can you be expected to give out the prize when you still dont knot official time ?

In short: Marred by lack of on-line results. Flat but boring route. PB potential limited by overcrowding. No changing, few toilets. Same old T-shirt as last couple of years
In full: This is a race that has just grown too big for itself, and the charity organising it seems to be more concerned about how much money they can squeeze out of the runners than putting on a good event. The refusal to put results on-line and to charge an extra £2 is an example of this.
That said, it's a good race for beginners, but the chance of a PB for the majority is reduced significantly by having to fight through the crowds.
I won't do it again, but I'm sure many others will.
