In short: This race was nice enough, although they ran out of ice lollies very early and I couldn't find any water at the finish line. Either didn't have or ran out of small sized t-shirts also very early on (as always!!!). Scenery nice, marshalls encouraging

In short: Fantastic in every respect!
In full: Very well organised. Loads of water stops. Cheap burger vans. I ran a blinder so maybe i'm biased, but i'll definitely be there next year. T-shirt and a medal to boot, does it get any better :-)

In short: Hot as always, Great atmosphere, Great Marshalls, Great Race
In full: This is the second time of running for me. Last year was hot and hilly, this year was hot and hilly.

Still a great race.

Lots of water stations. Some really fantastic volunteers. At one particular water station (under the motorway I think) the volunteers made the most amazing amount of noise and gave some much appreciated encouragement. Thank you.

The cadets did a great job in their uniform in the heat. Thanks

I started a bit too fast and paid for it later. The course was kind though and the down hill run from the 12 mile marker helped me power to the finish.

I would recommend to all. Will be back next year.

In short: Vast improvement when I last did this race
In full: Entered this race in 2004 & if am honest had lots of little niggles & quibbles about this event that I will not go into. So basically did not expect to much from this race today, especially when I was told they had not even sorted out a route until around a week ago.

However how wrong could I be. Personally in my opinion this was a fantastic event. Ok my time was complete poo, but the organisation was superb with great support from the marshals & I completely lost count how many water stations there was today. Which mind you was quite a blessing in today’s heat I can tell you :)

Other then that; love the course, loads of parking & for a change didn’t mind the hills.... even though they was plenty of them. If I had to find a grape with today’s event, it has to be they run out of lollys when I finished, but then again I am slow sod :)

Thanks for a great day & see you guys next year.

In short: Organisation really understands runner need
In full: Organisation: A big praise for the number of water stations, the best I ever seen so far, much better then London Marathon, Shakespeare marathon and other races I have participated in.
Track: Very hard track, a real “ I wish I had trained more” track!!
Beautiful scenery, I dreamed me back to my childhood’s summers when running or maybe it was the heat doing me crazy. I will definitely come back next year.
