In short: fabulous marshals, pretty route, slower runners miss out on the ice lollies - it's lonely at the back
In full: the route was changed 10 days before the race, so the place where my family expected to cheer was omitted as no-one knew about this. The marshals were fab throughout the run and the water stations plentiful. The field really thinned after mile 7 and I found that a bit sould destroying, still i'm signing up for next year and now I have something to beat. I found I was unable to perform as well in the race as during my training and this really knowcked me for six - who can say why? If I had performed better I would be raving about the race, as it is I'm disappointed with my performance on the day.

In short: Hot , Undulating with lots of water stations on the course
In full: Very good race , it was very hot but there were so many water stations that I actually rehydrated on the way round.
Slighty dissapointing that they ran out of lollies and the mass queue for water at the finish.

In short: Hot and a few problems
In full: Very hot day and the new course is quiet hilly - pleased with my time but long queue at the finish and no ice lolly that had been dreaming off during the run - still good event

In short: Hot conditions and the hills made it a real challenge. Good marshals and plenty of water stations on course.
In full: Nice event but with good organisation until you passed the finish line! Far to long to wait for very limited water after such a hot race. Long queues for T shirts and medals and Ice lollies long gone. Exit from the car park was a joke, must have taken nearly an hour. Shame to finish in such a way when so many people had clearly put great effort into the event organisation.

In short: Hot and Hilly although hills are not killers just a lot of them. Fun though, gwell marshalled
In full: Hot and Hilly although hills are not killers just a lot of them. Scenic well organised (all except the finish with the ridiculous queue for a cup of water and a medium t-shirt. other than that no grumbles. not for the faint hearted though!

In short: Hot, hilly and hard. However the support was great and the course rewarding so that made it all alright.
In full: As a local race I thought that it'd be nice to make the trip up and I wasn't disappointed. The course was scenic, with little traffic, and rolling enough to make you know it. Luckily there were stacks of water stations and an ice lolly at the end so I didn't come a cropper. Well worth turning up for even if a PB was unlikely!

In short: Hot, hilly, and even hotter!
In full: Hot temperature and very hilly course reduced many slower runners to walkers (me included!). Great marshalls and volunteers including local army cadets, enormous number of water stations (very much appreciated), good local support - thank you to the gentleman who brought out drinks on a tray. Only downside was getting out of the car park at the end (45 mins sitting in a queue). Will I do it again? Maybe - if I train harder, and get used to the sunshine!

In short: Hot, hilly and hard!! Well marshalled and plenty of water. Ran out of lollies; given a Kids' Fun Run tee-shirt and an hour to get out of the car park!! Otherwise not bad!!!
In full: Hot, hilly and hard! Pleasant course; water stations and marshals frequent. Disappointed to be given a tee-shirt for the children's race at the end - and run out of lollies - and an hour to get out of the car park! Apart from that not bad!!!

In short: Nice scenic (but hilly) course - brilliant marshalling!
In full: I have to commend the organisers for the plentiful water and the large number of marshalls. No goody bag, but nice medal, t-shirt and ice lolly!

I didn't care too much for what I felt was sarcastic commentary before the race. The directions to the car park could also have been better signposted around the town outskirts (I didn't receive a map of directions for some reason).

Good race overall though.
