In short: Well organised, with PB potential
In full: A good event. Could be better at the finish area. It seemed to take ages to get through. Tell us to remove our number tags before we get there.

In short: Free Cake, bit of a random course and a rainbow
In full: The course was nicely flat, I would have like a map before the start, but the marshalls were great so couldn't go wrong. Who else decided to run through the flooded ice cold water? that was actully quite fun. loved the goody bag at end, it had so much, medal, keyring, drink, crips, banana, ceral bar & CAKE!!

In short: Great race. Organised exceptionally well and a quick course able to cope with the vast numbers.
In full: Credit to the organisers, good fast route, well organised with plenty of marshalls and route able to cope with the numbers. Plenty of toilets, nice medal and goody bag and option of purchasing t-shirts. Highly recommend it. A side note - consider chip timing next year?

In short: Well done to all 100% better than last year
In full: The start was very well organised and you could easily find your own pace without having to dodge and weave around others.

The water feature was.....different, but as the marshal said, "the shallowest bit was straight through the middle"

The new finish along the sea front was outstanding and with the wind with you I managed to finish strong with a couple of 6 min miles.

A big thank you to the race director, all the friendly and encouraging marshals and everyone else who help to but this great race together.

Also managed a PB (1:21) which made the race even better......

In short: A big improvement on last year
In full: I do this race every year, and the course changing last year was a bit of a disappointment. However, the slight changes made to it this year was abig improvement. The marshals, as always, were excellent and very supportive, and the 'goody bag' containing the medal was a nice touch.

In short: Super-fast course in almost perfect weather
In full: Start was much smoother and less congested than last year. Encouraging marshalls. Weather was cool with just a short rain shower. Water feature was unexpected. Liked the cake in the goody bag. Great race.

In short: Make no mistake, this was a GREAT race.
In full: I had a few concerns after reading reports of last years race, but the organisers got this exactly right. A very fast, well marshalled flat course that has potential to be extremely quick. The course is entirely on tarmac, mostly along cycle paths, and including a couple of visits to an airfield and also takes in the promenade. Looking at the map of the course, I was concerned that some of the corners were going to be switch back 180 degree turns but such is the course that all the turns were fine. My goodie bag included practically a whole pack lunch for which I was very grateful. I was surprised however at the lack of chip timing for a race of this magnitude. Overall, thouch very enjoyable. well done to everyone involved in staging the event.

In short: Brillient considering weather and water feature :0)
In full: The weather abaeted and we had sunshine and showera with gusty wind conditions which made for a challengingrace. The water at 4. and 9 miles took the speed out of you but was a refreshing wake up call. Start was well sorted out from last year and the new course with the right weather will be very fast indeed drfinate PB course in dry good weather.
