In short: Despite slipping on a particularly treacherous descent and dislocating a finger this was a great test of character and stamina.

In short: Very tough but a fabulous race
In full: Really enjoyed today's race. Very tough hills, very boggy but brilliant sunshine and fabulous scenery made this well worth the effort.
Ran the whole thing will a broad grin on my face in spite of the regular discomfort and my total inability to keep my balance.
Would do this again and highly recommend it.

In short: Brilliant. I'm sore as hell and tickled pink.
In full: This race lives up to its expectations and them some. The toughest, most beatiful route and the friendliest marshalls and runners. If I hadn't been so tired I could have kissed someone when I cross the line. This really is an "It's Good To Be Alive" Race!

In short: Yes there was a lot of hills and mud, but a hugely enjoyable experiance. Lots of smiling marshals and very well organised. In fact the only downer was that by the time I got the the village hall for the 'lengendary' cakes, they had all been eaten!!

In short: Very well organised and marshalled
In full: The superb views took your mind off all the lovely mud and very steep inclines. Thoroughly enjoyed the event. Thanks especially to the organisers and marshalls who gave lots of encouragement along the route

In short: Too hard for the Blobster
In full: Second time out a race is normally easier, as you know what to expect.

Well this one wasn't, the slippery and muddy conditions (great fun) made even the downhill bits hard work

Will either have to put in a lot of extra training next year or think about whether to enter

But great organisation and marhsalling, thanks to you all, it can't have been much fun standing about on the more exposed bits of the course

In short: WTF - This race is pure madness
In full: HUGE hills and loads of mud that will have you skating across the course. The organization was fantastic, but they could have done with more loo's at the start. Not sure if I'd do it again - I'm sure I'll have nightmares about the hills tonight!
And why was there only 4 p in the swear box. I am sure I heard more than one word ;)

In short: Started the New Year off in style for me!
In full: I absolutely LOVED this race. One of the toughest races I have ever done (and that includes a LOT of multi terrain and XC hard stuff!). Well organised and marshalled with good baggage store and changing tents! Beautiful scenery and a good atmosphere. Must remember next time to run faster - or buy my cake BEFORE the race as all the homemade ones had gone by the time I got there!
