In short: A very friendly Half mara for first timers
In full: Excellent support & marshalling despite the appalling weather conditions, a city centre course would be excellent.

Thanks to the Marshalls who must have been freezing (not to mention damp) and were extremely encouraging & motivating.

Perhaps we could book weather not to include high winds, driving rain & hail for next year...the rainbow was a nice touch though!

In short: very enjoyable and a PB
In full: The only qualm I had was that they couldn't send you your race number beforehand like in every other race I've done. This meant I had to get there earlier than I would have liked. Great goody-bag though, I very much enjoyed the chewy bar thing. Good course; the 2 laps made planning my speed much easier, and I felt it was a fast course. Well organised.

In short: Great race despite the weather!
In full: First time here but won't be the last. Despite the awful conditions I enjoyed this race and if we choose to run at this time of the year then what can we expect (although the side wind & hail at 8 miles was not appreciated!!)

Very Good organisation so praise to those involved. Although it can be a bind having to collect chip & numbers at least we did have the chance to do this the day before so as not to leave it till race day. We came up from Coventry on Saturday and found the whole procedure very easy. A nice touch having your name on the number which I managed to keep dry by keeping me black bin bag on till 12.5 miles!

A great goody bag - that snickers bar didnt stay long in its wrapper I can tell ya! A decent medal and fab t-shirt - well worth the entry fee.

Thanks to all the marshalls who braved the conditions - it mustve been tough just standing there cos at least us runners were moving!

The weather certainly had an affect on the support along the course (understandably!) but thanks to those who did don their wellies and raincoats to cheer us on - especially those round the pub!

Well done to all involved - will definitely be back to tackle this one again.

In short: Despite the awful weather a good course, carparks culd have been better, should have signs warning drinks stations ahead. I am surprised the size of club that there were not more marshalls on course, perhaps they should not had so many of there club
In full: Despite the awful weather a good course, carparks culd have been better, should have signs warning drinks stations ahead. I am surprised the size of club that there were not more marshalls on course, perhaps they should not had so many of there club members running. Spoke to someone whom i passed and they finished behind me yet there chip time was faster than me!!! work that one out. Some die hard supporters along the way, they were great.

In short: Given the bad conditions I thoroughly enjoyed the event.
In full: Bad weather a side I really enjoyed this event. The organisation of the event was professional. Was dismayed by the way some people felt that they could just through away there bin bags (water proofs) on the way around the course!!! This can’t help the organisers with the local community!!

In short: The move from June to December moved the issue from the heat to the atrociuos weather conditions which affected the race, the start time, the atmosphere and the parking
