In short: Enjoyable run through some very nice country side.
In full: A very well organised run. Glorious day, which helps!! I enjoyed the mix of running on the road, park land & in the forest.
I also enjoyed the fact that you did not have to battle with any cars - credit to the organisers. Was probably fortunate enough to be ahead of most of the pack so had no problems down the single track.
Lots of local support which is always nice. Will come back and do again!

In short: Lovely course - good cross country challenge across some muddy spots. Nice for a change if you are used to road running. Narrow in parts but mostly easy to overtake. Pleasent atmosphere - not too elite.

In short: A beautiful course, although a bit congested in parts.
In full: I really enjoyed this race; the course was through beautiful countryside and it was really pleasant to get out of the city for the day. Running cross-country was also very enjoyable, with mud splatters as badges of honour. It was congested in parts as the course narrowed in the first third, but I didn't have too wait long. Great spirit along the way and a great day out. Will definitely be back next year.

In short: Great race but for for the enforced stop!
In full: This was my third 10k and I really enjoyed it but for a few minutes of waiting after around 2-3km. The route is great if you're alone or in a small group but there were times when the paths were just far too crowded.

I managed a mnute outside my PB which was disappointing as I've improved in each of my first two races, however, I take comfort from the fact that but for the stop I'd have comfortably beaten it again!

Definately one I'd do again (I'm local so nice and easy for me!) but please, please, let the organisers make some slight alterations to the route to prevent people having to come to a complete halt after they've just got into their stride!

In short: Got PB - would have been better but for single file bit
In full: An enjoyable race well organised and marshalled. Lots of grass which, in October, means lots of mud too. Most disappointing aspect was the single file bit around 2-3 km which resulted in runners having to stand and wait around for upwards of a minute. Despite this, got a PB and would run again.
