In short: My first ever race. A two-lap race through mainly country lanes. Enjoyed the two-lap organisation as felt like I knew how far I had left!
In full: My first ever race, two laps through the Norfolk countryside in the howling wind and pouring rain along country lanes and some busier roads (but not for very long). Loved the first half, second half was quite difficult for me. Enjoyed seeing the same lap twice - made me feel like I knew how far I had to go. Found it hard as weather was DIRE on the day and I was unable to train for approx 2mths prior to race but was determined to complete it and thoroughly enjoyed it! Would definately recommend this to anyone but would advise beginners to bring a running partner unless they are confident on their own as I was very much towards the back I would've ended up on my own if I hadn't dragged my husband along! The Marshalls were really great and very encouraging- Anyone who stands in the pouring rain and strong winds to cheer on the last remaining few runners for three hours deserves a medal too!

In short: Very well organised event, great course and a good turnout.
In full: The organisation for this event was excellent. The website was great and very useful to be able to collect your number and chip the day before as this saved a lot of pre-race hassle.

The course was good with prominent mile markers, plenty of water stations and very well marshalled. A big thank-you to all the marshalls who had to endure some pretty awful weather, particularly on the more exposed parts of the course.

Nice medal and t-shirt and the edible contents of the goodie bag at the end were most appreciated!

It is a shame that the weather and the accident on the A47 which led to the delayed start (both of which were outside of the organisers control) have led to some adverse comments. Overall I don't think that there is anything to fault this race and I would certainly do it again.

In short: Bad weather made the british spirit shine. wonderful.
In full: the bad storm hit at such a bad moment for me but the marhalls were so uplifting and jolly, and bless them they just had to stand in it. A big plus and thankyou to them. also a friendly atmosphere all round.

In short: Parking a problem - Lots of Wind and Rain but Volunteers were great
In full: It took half an hour to get into the car park so we nearly missed the start and were quite stressed! An earlier start could avoid queueing with the Xmas shoppers!
Lack of facilities a bit of a problem in the atrocious weather and the extra loop at the end was a bit of a bummer. Enjoyed it in hindsight and thanks to all the marshalls and organisers who were all nice, friendly and helpful.
Could we have it in Norwich next year despite the hilly-ness it would be more fun!
