In short: Lovely race, would definitely do it again
In full: Slightly hillier than I'd expected and it takes quite some willpower to push yourself past the finish funnel to do the second of the 6 mile loops, but a really nice race overall. Could do with another water station or two to make it perfect.

In short: Well organised undulating run through the Surrey countryside
In full: Enjoyed it as my first 20+ race - well organised, friendly atmosphere and good route. Toilet facilities at the start could have been better. Don't know whether it was me, but I only found out once I'd got home that tea and cakes were available after the race - I had to make do with a trip to Sainsburys

In short: Great as a pre-London run
In full: Could have done with some water at the finish, the last hill is a bit naughty, but a very good race. Nice scenic (mainly) course, good marshalling, and distance markers were spot on.

In short: Good race, shame about the traffic
In full: I would definitely do the race again, mainly because it’s a good distance and time for FLM but it’s not my favourite. I don't like the 6 mile loop you have to do twice and I hated the traffic that built up. By 10am, there were lots of cars trying to pass and it became annoying. One girl had her water bottle knocked out of her hand by a wing mirror. The race could also do with at least one more water station.

On the up-side, good organisation at the start and finish. Plenty of toilets, friendly marshalls and a well marked course.

In short: Perfect FLM preparation - very well organized.
In full: Every Mile markers was spot on - which meant I could check my pace constantly - my main objective for this race. Very scenic setting, and well organized from arrival in the car park to departure - everything like clockwork. Defo back again, IF I decide to do another spring marathon.......

In short: Pleasant race
In full: Found the going quite tough as my first long run in 4 weeks due to knee injury. FLM round the corner and this really hits home how short of fitness I am but hey. Nice race and well organised!
