In short: For a fairly small event excellent organisation, and great marshalls. In full: Pretty unique event with three laps and the relay as well to mix it up a bit. Great supprt at end of each lap, marshalls did an excellent job at racing the runners spirits with there support. Special credit to the compere who did a sterling job in giving the marathon runners a boost on each lap. Date of review: December 5, 2005

In short: Ouch - for a first marathon In full: Ok, so maybe I should have picked a slightly less undulating course on which to attempt my first marathon but found the people and marshalling excellent. Will definately do agin next year if only to see how much I've improved! Well done organisers ;-) Date of review: December 4, 2005

In short: A well established and good end of year road marathon In full: As ever a well organised and marshalled event. Nice medal and goody bag. Excellent changing and shower facilities. One small critisism - for slower runners the last two drinks stations had packed up. When youare tired this is always disappointing Date of review: December 4, 2005

In short: LOVED IT! Got a PB and the hills weren't so bad! In full: Did this last year and came back for more.. shaved 28 minutes off my PB so am well happy! The hills were a bit nasty but didn't really hit the wall this year and made it to 22 miles before I slowed. Organisation fantastic.. yes Luton isn't the prettiest of places and local support was ok - the kids through the housing estate were the best but I really enjoyed it and the relay adds that little bit extra. Will be back! Date of review: December 4, 2005

In short: Tough windy course and according to my Polar a 1020ft climb In full: Well organised event with good and supportive marshalls. Course is very challenging as it covers tracks, wonky footpaths, roads and many twists and turns. It is not flat and is the hilliest Marathon I have run. I was absolutely wrecked when I finished this one Date of review: December 4, 2005

In short: Well organised fun event for all In full: I was a 2nd leg relay runner. Great event where all sorts of abilities of runner can come and join in. Very good facilities and big bunch of friendly people. When I finished my leg it was great to hang about and see the marathon folk come in. Good atmosphere, frindly marshalls. Loved it - a good day out for the whole club. I didn't get a medal but I coveted the ones I saw. 3 laps next year. Date of review: December 4, 2005
