In short: Well organised, great (cold) day In full: Hats off to the marshalls, and the drinks and mile markers were excellent. The pen was a bit of a disappointment but I wasn't here for the trinkets, and the atmosphere and relatively good value make up for any deficiencies in the baddy bag Date of review: February 24, 2005
In short: Well Organised, but very cold In full: An excellent race, with very tough marshals. The goody bag leaves something to be desired, however a big pb for me was just reward!! Date of review: February 23, 2005
In short: Happy with my Snickers but a bag would have been better than a pen (already been nicked by small daughter) In full: Fab overall, really felt for the marshalls - it was cold running, let alone standing around for hours but most were still smiling !
Goody bag comment aside, thought the whole thing was really well thought out, even the loo queues weren't bad.
Pb'd too, what could be better ? :-) Date of review: February 22, 2005
In short: Overall enjoyed it, (cos I finished!), but what a crap goody bag! In full: I've done several events, it was well organised but the worst goody bag ever! No tee-shirt or mug or medal or anything to show for finishing 20 miles! Which is actually a real achievement! The cheap pen (about 20p I reckon I can get them for) didnt even have the year on it. Come on Bramley organisers, we like our momentos, get it together! Date of review: February 22, 2005
In short: Nice race - great tester for FLM In full: The weather was freezing - its the first time I've kept my hat and gloves - and duvet on for the whole of a race! Wondering about the worms kept me going on many a long lonely mile on the second lap! Date of review: February 22, 2005
In short: Ran 20 miles and got a cheap pen...would much much rather a cheap plastic medal, to go with my other cheap plastic medals. If I do London again I will definatley do 20 again, but if not then just the 10. Date of review: February 22, 2005
