In short: Another blinder!! Huge thanks to Dr Rob and all the marshalls In full: Running this race has reminded me of everything I love about off-road running. Instead of feeling worn out, I feel completely re-inspired. Huge thanks to the whole team who put this race together - fantastic!! Date of review: October 18, 2010
In short: Fab event, good value, great goodies, great marshalls and water stations In full: I loved this race. Right up my street as a trail runner. Challenging, scenic, great weather, and very friendly atmosphere and well organised. Marshalls very encouraging, and liked the jelly babies. Would defo do again. My only criticism was the naff showers afterwards ! Well done organisers !! Date of review: October 18, 2010
In short: A wonderful race in a great location but tough at teh same time In full: What a beautiful day for a Marathon over the North Downs. It was tough but very frienly race where everone shouted encouragement. I also raised over £1,000 for my charity Clearvision. I think that people sponsored me to see if I would survive- I did with a smile. Well done to Dr Bob and the team. Date of review: October 18, 2010
In short: Yet again, another well organised and well suported race by Dr Rob and all his staff. 10/10. In full: My 1st Greensands this year. What a very tough course. I wouldn't say it was challenging, the term "evil" would be more accurate to describe a course that even mountain goats would find difficult..!! As always, great organisation and support from Dr Rob and his gang of helpers/marshalls. He even managed to sort out ideal weather for the race (I wouldn't fancy running it in the rain). I think there is a darker side to Dr Rob which surfaces when he plans the routes for all these Trionium races..e.g. Starting on a hill and the hill from hell at 25 miles..! Yes, I will be at the start line in October 2011, hopefully a little better prepared. Date of review: October 18, 2010
In short: Fantastic day out in the country. In full: Awesome views weather and scenary, great marshalls and atmosphere. Didn't get lost this year which was a bonus. Great event! Date of review: October 18, 2010
In short: Dr Rob develops ultimate hangover cure! In full: Maybe a whole bottle of wine the night before was a mistake, but there's nothing like a nice fry-up to put things straight. The fry-up comes after a friendly sing-along and a relaxing amble over some gently rolling countryside, just the ticket! The head is very clear now, but my legs are a bit sore. Now I only have to do the Knacker Cracker to complete the T-shirt collection...
In short: This my son Joe and my first marathon. A great run but the hills on the way home were a challenge to our legs and we both had to run with cramp the last 8 miles! We enjoyed encouraging chats and an energy gel from those running with us. Date of review: October 18, 2010
