In short: Great Race, Baggage truck rubbish!!
In full: I dont want to moan but I arrived at the start line half hour before the race started to find that the last luggae truck had gone! I was gutted and had to carry my rucksack round, which cut me to bits! Never mind.

Thoroughly enjoyed the race, route is good and while hilly, it wasnt 'out of order' hills. It was warm without being scorching and made for a pleasant day out.

The drinks stations were spot on and the finish lane was really really good. Marshalls did their best and the police were helpful when asked.

All in all it was a great day out and Id deffo do it again. I would take the family next time.

In short: Another great event - a bit warm this year! Brilliant atmosphere as expected.
In full: Very well organised, very friendly runners, stewards and crowds. Weather was excellent. Special thanks to the two women on the Metro who helped me out when I fell over!

In short: great run up north
In full: A great run spoilt only by lack of toilets at the start which meant my 30 minute wait resulted in a start from the back of the field as I was then too late for entry into my zone.

In every other way i relished the challenge and enjoyed the day even though I spent over an hour waitin to leave the car park without turning a wheel

In short: A special race. Great Fun. No chance of a PB with the crowds running. Only criticism is that yo are placed in a startinf pen seemly independent to the race time you are targeting...a number of runners that I chatted to were like me and placed behindr

In full: As everyone knows, this is a very special race. The main problem I had with it is that they were too eager to close the pens, even with people still queing to get in. A bit more common sense was needed by some. Appart from that, I don't think I can fault the organisers.

A special note to the people of the North East. You should be very proud of yourselves. The atmosphere is second to none, the support fantastic, and the way you help the runners with drinks, oranges, jelly babies and general all round support is a credit to you. Thank you very much.
