In short: The best race of the year, crowd support magnificent, atmosphere second to non. In full: Best P.b. potential this year due to cool temperatures and tail wind all the way. Finish line ran perfectly for such a big race. If only the start could be better, but 45,000 runners just can’t cross a single line as soon as the gun goes off, so it is understandable. In short: Very Busy In full: An enjoyable race. The setup of the day is for fund raising, and for getting people running for the first time. The streets where very busy, especially at the start, but you always find people right at the front of the race, who are walking before the first mile. Don't understand why! I cant complain, I started with the orange numbers, despite having a white number. This is a must, however for people wanting to get encouraged into running! Date of review: September 27, 2004

In short: Started in the 7 min miler area (although I'm an 8 min miler) and still got caught up by runners walking after 1/2 mile, didn't help that they all seemed to want to hold hands!! Something needs to be done about the start! Date of review: September 26, 2004
