In short: Novelty value and quick In full: Lining up at the start... the smell of fuel, actually ralgex! Good course logistically - ample parking, wide course, no bottlenecks. Couldn't hear the megaphone announcements. Shame they didn't use the lights to start the race and maybe the chequered flag to end it. Felt sorry for the wheelchair racers who on their second lap had to fight their way through the runners. Date of review: May 3, 2006
In short: As a virgin 10k entrant this proved exhilirating! In full: Have got the bug now and so has hubbie. looking forward to the next event and plan to come back next year. Date of review: May 3, 2006
In short: Well organised & well supported as usual In full: I keep coming back for this one despite the trek up the M1 and along the A43 (and the pain of getting in to the circuit). A well organised & marshalled event.
In short: Loved the race, didn't like getting in and out of the circuit In full: The race was really good if not a bit windy and it was really enjoyable, well marshalled and overall it was all done well apart from the curse of Silverstone parking. Getting in and out of the circuit took forever which was extremely frustrating but it wouldn't put me off doing it again ! Date of review: May 3, 2006
In short: A good evening out - plus I got to race at Silverstone! In full: Being a bit of an F1 nut it was extra special. Organisation seemed pretty good. Hopefully will be back next year. A medal or something would have been nice - but I can't complain as the entry fee was pretty low. Date of review: May 3, 2006
In short: a chance to race around silverstone is great In full: a good venue, only a few slopes, its a bit open at times and gets windy but hey no wheres perfect. very well organised, would think about doing it again as its two laps of the track which is fine. definately pick a non windy day though it could be very tough if the wind gets up.
