In short: The Improved course still with keeping the challenging undulations helps make it an annual fixture In full: A good fast trail race considering the challenging undulations, makes for a rewarding race to complete.
This was a race with clockwork organization and great value with a bright tech top suitable for running in the darkening evenings and generous sized medal. Date of review: September 21, 2009
In full: Excellent race, very well organised as usual. Course was much better and quicker than the 2008 one (but still hilly). Great Marshals giving encouragement all the way around. A race full of friendly faces but still has that element of competition about it, a perfect mix. Date of review: September 21, 2009
In short: Makings running more fun - Great new course. In full: Great race in a great location. Ashtead Common is great place to run. Finishing prize of a good medal and a dry fit top was very generous. Best way to desribe the course is demanding, especially the hill at around 8.5k. Well organised and good weather as usual for this race. Well done to all. Date of review: September 21, 2009
In short: Easier course than last year with better organisation In full: A good day for three of us running - all did better than we expected. Great shirts and medals although goody bags did run out at the end. Date of review: September 20, 2009
In short: Good, testing 10K - good scenery and well-organised. In full: Only complaint would be the inaccuracy of the kilometre markers. We were told at the beginning that were indicative but they seemed quite a way off in places. Otherwise, excellent race. Date of review: September 20, 2009
