In short: An AAT Classic - almost vertical climb less than 150m into the race! In full: If you've run the G3 where you go up the back trail of St Martha's, you'll have a good idea of what's in store...
A great race, superb views from the top (if you can see through the sweat in your eyes) and several monster hills - the last one at 9k - nice!
Superb organisation and marshalling - well done to all at aat. Date of review: July 10, 2011

In short: Yes, it did In full: Having done a few Trionium events I thought I knew what hills were but this course featured what must be the 3 steepest hills I've ever been up (I would say 'run up' but that would just be lying). Stunning views made one of those climbs seem worthwhile but the others were just evil.
Overall I think the Knacker Cracker probably still holds its title as the toughest 10 but this is definitely not one for the faint-hearted.
Just one request for next year - can we have the car park somewhere a bit more Mini-friendly. I was a bit concerned about the underside of the car scraping all the way up that entry lane! Date of review: July 9, 2011
