In short: Well organised. Hilly in a good way if you are looking to train for a marathon. Excellent if live locally and close enough if you live in East london. Nice mix of club runners and other enthusiasts. Date of review: March 8, 2015
In short: Nice friendly race- community feel to it In full: Lovely local event and well organised. Great marshalling and mars bar at the end very welcome. Credit to the two little girls on the last lap who organised a table with drinks and sweets- brilliant Date of review: March 23, 2014
In short: As always, well organised, enjoyable and challenging. In full: My 3rd time at this race and it is always a good one. Organisation is slick, marshals are effective and encouraging, support around the course, not huge but enough, is enthusiastic and the route, with all of its undulations, is a very good challenge. Excellent value too. Date of review: March 12, 2014
In short: disarmingly challenging In full: well organised , friendly challenging race it was a warm day, the marshals were superb as always especially the 2 gents at the top of snakes lane east by the lights , not very scenic a little bit crowed this yr but still a good run c u next yr Date of review: March 11, 2014
In short: Very well organised and marshalled. I have run this race before and was not aware that the finish line had moved on to the track, so I was a little disappointed to hit the entrance of the playing fields and not be finished! But the end came soon en Date of review: March 11, 2014
In short: Fantastic Race, not for the faint hearted 13 hills in 13 miles In full: I was a very late entry to this race, after being taken ill the morning of Bath but still giving it my best shot, i started to thing about Roding Valley, this race is very local to me but those hills, OMG, then 4 days before the race a friend was offering 2 free places, it seemed like fate, so off we went on Sunday.
The race was very well organised, their were supporters scattered throughout the route, the only reason I wouldn't do this race again is because my knees just dont like hills and this race is non stop hills, but I will definitely volunteer or be there to support in future
Its definitely one to add to your to do list and one I am proud to say I have completed Date of review: March 10, 2014
