In short: No result for me?? In full: despite having a chip i dont seem to have been given a time. Im new to this so it was important to have a base line, however slow after all that effort. Really disappointed, but Im a swimmer so a splash in the Lido afterwards cheered me up no end. Date of review: June 10, 2012

In short: Felt like a proper run In full: My 3rd race this year and 2 weeks on from my first half I still managed a PB. Felt well organised and friendly when I was struggeling a little at 8k was encoraged and spurred on by another runner Date of review: June 10, 2012

In short: Nice day out In full: Local run race with no big sponsor. The course is not traffic free but not an issue on these country lanes. A big well done to all those involved for a well organised event. Date of review: June 10, 2012

In short: Small scale and friendly with it In full: This was my first time running the Woodhall Spa 10k and I was a little apprehensive due to previous years reviews. However, there were plenty of stewards and everything seemed well organised. The course was a scenic canter through the countryside although there was traffic to contend with during the race, but this was infrequent and caused no problems.
There were a couple of water stations which were welcome as when the sun came out it was very warm. There was a great atmosphere at the finish and everyone received a medal and a t shirt, along with a bottle of water.
Everyone seemed friendly. There were a lot of club runners for the size of the field (just less than a 1000) and these were predominately local (Sleaford and Lincoln) not that there's anything wrong with that of course!
An enjoyable morning's racing, and I'd definitely do it again :-) Date of review: June 10, 2012

In short: Shame about the finish In full: You need to get here early as the village gets completely clogged after 10.00 am. The main car park seemed to be full of caravans this year. Was expecting to have to pay for parking as the pack specifically metioned it but nobody collected the money.Wouldn't have minded paying. The finish was really bad this year - it was difficult actually getting over the line and to the water and tee shirts - liked the design, they were better than last year. Getting away after the event was easier this year but I suspect this was because we stopped for an ice cream rather than just shootong off. Date of review: June 12, 2011

In short: nice race let down by poor organisation In full: positives: friendly race in pretty town and rural route; good PB potential; chip timing; results posted quickly; negatives: poor org'n (not acceptable after this many years and when paying for it): no clear direction to overspill parking or how to walk to start (had to help lady with buggy over a gate); finding late entry desk - and disorg there; dodging cars km 6-8; end area chaos; white tshirt!, no medal; INACCURATE measurement (not accept - last km was long; how difficult is it to measure?). Will i do it again - yes! Would be nice if part of route were through the town! Date of review: June 11, 2011

In short: Could be great race, but please, please, please sort out finish area In full: I really like this race. It's local, friendly and has a huge amount of PB potential. But I've done it three times now, and every time the finish area has really let it down. Come on Woodhall, please sort it out. Date of review: June 8, 2011

In short: organised chaos at the end In full: its local to me so not to be missed but like others have noted - bad t shirt and expensive for what it is. the organised chaos at the end was the worst i have seen but im a newbie with only about 9 races to my name. i got a pb so it cant be a hard course and i scored it accordingly. nice to have a couple of water stations en route as well as at the end, and i like medals so was a bit miffed when the fun runners got one and 10ks didnt. A medal is a keepsake - a t shirt is a duster next year :) Date of review: June 7, 2011
