In short: very well organised, friiendly, not too big, nice scenery In full: All organanisation like clockwork - plenty of loos/great baggage drop-off/friendly and efficient marshalls. Slightly undulating course through nice countryside, with great support at Leigh village and coming back into Tonbridge Date of review: September 25, 2012

In short: Excellent, a definite favourite In full: I'm lucky to have this event on my doorstep, it''s an interesting course with a few ups and downs, support and organisation are both fantastic. Will definitely be back for my third attempt next year.
Shame there were over 400 no shows, a third of the entries, if the results list is accurate Date of review: September 24, 2012

In short: Hilly, rainy, Excellent In full: Well organised event. Challenging course that I underestimated being my 1st time. The hills seemed to go on forever. Marshalls excellent and a very Jolly race director.
Excellent medal and goody bag.

In full: A really well organised event, from start to finish, the facilities were superb, marshalls fantastic and the public amazing standing out in the rain cheering us on. To top it off Dame Kelly Homes was here for us at the start and finish. Only down side was at the prize giving there were no awards given out for 2nd and 3rd place prizes beyond age 45, it seems a pity as us older runners matter too! Date of review: September 24, 2012

In short: Another very good event.. In full: Simply excellent. The second Tonbridge Half Marathon was well organised, fun, and as many have said the support through Leigh village was even better than last year (and that was amazing as well!)
I regards to the course, it was challenging, but still fun and this time round easier as I'd done some proper hill training.
I managed to get round quicker as well, taking off 22 minutes from last years finishing time.
I'd strongly recommend doing this event, and will return next year.
Thanks to the organizers again. Date of review: September 24, 2012

In full: Once again a brilliantly organised race. Excellent facilities at K College, I have never been to a race with more than enough toilets before, normally queuing for ages, a major plus. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Support from Leigh was second to none, the whole village must have been out to support. Dame Kelly giving out the medals at the end was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended. Date of review: September 24, 2012

In short: Great race, was good last year and just got better. In full: Was totally thrown by the lack of queues for the toilets, 10 mins before race you just walked straight in - think it's the first race I've ever done which had enough toilets.
Dame Kelly at the end was fab, course was as I expected hard but manageable lessens learnt from last year go gently up the hills and pace yourself.
Only think which really annoyed me was being told at the start no earphones. The course was a course where you could wear them safely (we are adults and can have them on low or just one ear in to hear marshall instructions) but to say you will be disqualified if you wore them left a very bad taste in my mouth. Race organsisers need to remember not all of us are fast whippets and some of us find running with music really helps. Date of review: September 24, 2012
