In short: I was the lady marshalling in the big red sombrero. The organisers take pride in making this a good race, well done to all involved, especially Neil! A brilliant day.

In short: If only the local footy club could emulate this race, they'd be up there with Barca and Real Madrid. Absolutely top event!!

In short: A must do race
In full: Things this good don't happen by accident. Huge well done to the organisers, marshals and everyone else involved in putting this race on.

Put it on your list of must do races.

In short: 1000 people entered, how many more wanted to run no one knows.
In full: If you like road races then this has to be on everyones list, it has everything besides a flat boring route, dull uninterested marshalls and the expense of a great north run.

In short: Simply the best
In full: It's all been said already but this race is second to none. Many thanks to all involved (the marshals were superb) As young Mr Grace would have said "you've all done very well".

In short: Best race in Stockport!
In full: Long hills, dreary estates, main road traffic but it is really quite a laugh and a fine race that somehow rises far above the sum of its parts.

In short: Still the best race in the calendar, bar none
In full: Another triumph for Stockport Harriers. The fun and surreal humour do not detract from the fact that the organisation is taken very seriously indeed.

The names on the bibs was a great idea (I was very nearly last and to have people cheer me on by name as I came back into the park was brilliant.)

The marshals are superb and plentiful.

How Tony Audenshaw keeps up a brilliant commentary for 3+ hours I have no idea. I think I am a tiny bit in love with him.

I don't know where Stockport Harriers go from here, because short of hiring Johnny Depp to rub me down afterwards, I'm not sure how this race can be improved.

In full: The North's race of the year. Nothing to add from what has been said before. This race is just absolutely bloody marvelous.
