In short: Very friendly but hilly 10M In full: Shame so much of it is on roads but I guess it' hard for it not to be. Very friendly, supportive marshals and fab finish in the stadium with very special commentary. Good atmosphere Date of review: December 8, 2013
In short: Always a favourite! In full: I will keep coming back and doing this race as it is great and one of my favourites. In particular the baggage organisation at the end was superb.
I however seem to be in the minority of not liking some of the course changes. I didn't like the second offroad bit - particularly the latter part where the track was very potholed and I found it difficult to maintain my pace. It wouldn't stop me coming back though. Date of review: December 8, 2013
In short: Great commitment from all concerned makes this a brilliant race. In full: The club organisers and marshals make this race what it is, they just do not stop. From Delia and Marco dishing out the hot pot and tea to Tom Potson announcing every runner from first to last as they ran into the stadium, they make a rather humdrum course through a housing estate, main road, farmyard and park a race to remember. The finish gantry didn't blow down and there was no delay handing out numbers :)
In short: A pleasure to run In full: Everything is good about this race. Organization smooth and thoughtfully planned, marshalls plentiful and extremely supportive despite standing around for hours, facilities good, course fast - a good out and back route with a couple of hills thrown in - well marked at each mile. Great feel good factor in the true spirit of running. Thank you very much to everyone involved. Date of review: December 8, 2013
In short: amazing In full: Fantastic race, great support, varied terrain to make it interesting. Shame about the grumpy first man over the line, definitely not in the spirit of sport, running and the Stockport 10. Date of review: December 8, 2013
