In short: Brilliant event around the streets of Port Sunlight In full: Very well organized event, one of the best I have been to. The course is 2 laps of a 5k course held within the village. The route was quite convoluted, which made it great for spectators. The course was flat and generally fast with only one really sharp hairpin. Well worth doing and in the calendar for next year already. Date of review: May 22, 2012
In short: Gorgeous Lord Leverhulme architechture, plenty of parking all around plus excellent rail links. The locals were very welcoming, the organization was impeccable and the spectators seemed to be having just as much fun as the runners! Date of review: May 18, 2012

In short: A chocolate box village 10k ! In full: Well I had to run this as its in walking distance of home. I was a bit wary of the route - it looked wiggly and fairly tricky and with it being the first running I'd half expected to get lost. But it was perfect ! Fantastic marshalling - great signage, great coning off and the out and back sections let you see just how far ahead the fast boys were.
Nice food and drinks on offer at the end too - I'll bring cash next year.
Lovely medal too !
And theres plenty of things for supporters to do as well. Date of review: May 16, 2012
In short: Great route, great local support and ideal for family and friends to watch. In full: I loved this 10k. There was a fantastic atmosphere in the village with many locals on doorsteps spurring the runners on. The marshalls were exceptional - encouraging and friendly and plenty of them. A drumming band played for the entire event, so over the couple of laps passing them it provided a real incentive to get on your toes. Loved the finish as well, a long straight lined with supporters. My favourite 10k so far (and I got a PB). Fantastic. Date of review: May 15, 2012
