In short: Great race, great occasion
In full: Fantastic morning out. Beautifully organised. The uphills don't affect times too much as the downhills are lovely and fast. Really chuffed to finish in the top 20.

In short: Top race for a top lady
In full: Enjoyed the race, well organised, and great support with very vocal marshalls. Only one or two gripes. 1st, why do the organisers use the chips that tie onto laces ? Last thing you want to do at the end of a tough half is bend down and take it off. Plenty of other halves have them attached to the race number (see Conwy, Rivington, Wilmslow) Bit chaotic at end, but bag retrieval spot on, water and energy drinks all over the course. Great t-shirt. Will be back, but please consider timers on bib ?

Text service outstanding, results in less time it took me to get my bag.

In short: Awesome support and challenging hills
In full: This was my first half marathon so I was nervous, but the encouragement from the crowd and the marshalls really made a difference. People stood all along the route, cars with music playing loud, it was a great atmosphere!

Organisation was great, plenty of water stations, and you get a medal at the end. The first hill up Stonegate road was pretty tough, but the rest felt OK with plenty of downhill to enjoy.

Will definitely be entering next year!

In short: A great half marathon and all for a good cause too!
In full: This is my 4th Leeds Half - I really like it (being a local!). It's a great atmosphere, fabulous marshals, very well organised and lots of local support. Slightly challenging route (which I like) but the down hills make up for it. Only slight niggle this year is that there were a few bottlenecks where we had to walk/jog. Shame, I might have shaved a few nano-seconds off my time!!!

In short: Super enjoyable challenge that has a hard start
In full: Great support and a few changes made to make the organisation from the 10km race much improved so congrats to all...

The course has challenging start the hills didn't seem to stop and for my 1st half marathon i started to regret my decision....but the support from the big crowd was tremendous.

I have ran many of Jane's races and she continues to inspire....what next??

Thanks everyone
