In short: Excellent race
In full: I only got 2 miles in to this race before I had to withdraw due to injured ankle, but the organisation, marshalls and first aiders that I met were all absolutely fantastic.
I got 'rescued' and treated really quickly, given an icepack, cup of tea and a seat near the finish line so that I could wait for my friends to finish the race. The atmosphere and support from the crowd at the finish line was superb and the goodie bags and medals made me incredibly jealous.
I'll be back next year to take on the challenge again!

In short: Fantastic Challenge
In full: This really was as much fun as I hoped, everything worked well from the communication before to breakfast the next morning. The course is hard and a true challenge to beat the train with its cheery whistle. The marshals are amazing, I met a couple who came from Leicester to marshal!!! Thank you. The town comes out to support the race and it seems nobody minds the distruption on a Saturday afternoon, which makes the atmosphere infectious. The scenery is wonderful and you come into contact with much of it! The organisation is brilliant and I can't see room for improvement. The goodie bag was amazing, although I would of run just to beat the train. Thank you one and all for such a great time.

In full: Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. This was my 1st Race The Train & despite the muddy bogs & exceedingly steep hills which you could only walk up I will definitely be back for more next year! The scenery was breathtaking & the support all the way round was excellent.

In short: Great Race, Breathtaking scenery, Very well organised!
In full: It was my 2nd time at this race and well worth a 5 hour journey to get to Tywyn, loved every minute of it! it was made tougher this year with the hot weather, but plenty of water/isotonic drinks to keep us hydrated and very helpful encouraging marshalls to keep us going. Cant wait until next years race!
