In short: Great day out round Oxford, well marshalled plenty of water shame about bag storage
In full: A great day out, shuttle buses from mini plant car park to start were very good, not so obvious to find on the way back though. Great venue for an HQ and finish.

Ran a PB taking 5 minutes of my previous, there were a couple of tight spots on the Thames path but nothing to serious.

The only gripe was bag storage, long queue to put my bag in and then an even longer queue (45min to an hour) to get it back which after a half when you are getting cold is not a good place to be!!

Get that sorted and it would make all the difference.

In short: Pros:Massive improvement on last year. Cons: 1 hour wait at the baggage queue after the race.
In full: I ran this last year and there is a massive improvement:) The route has changed and it's great running along the Thames and seeing the rowers on the river. Parking was very organised this time round. Bands along the route - great touch. Road closures - fantastic - there were none last year. New start line. Good signage. Goody bag, medal and T-shirt very good. To work on:
1. It's a good idea to have the time car at the start before the runners get there.
2. Speakers at the start were poor- couldn't hear anything from the start, except the horn.
3. More marshals on the first water stop (I had to get water from the boxes of bottle.
4. Baggage pick up was bad. I waited for an hour. Fortunately it wasn't raining and everyone was in good spirits. The orangisors should look at Reading - 12,000 runners and I pick my bag up in just a few minutes.

In full: Very enjoyable race which I will do again as it is very local to me. Having spoken to people who did it last year the organisation at this years race is much better. Good support from the crowds and a nice touch to finish in the Kassam Stadium. My only gripe is the baggage collection area at the end. It was far too small and too slow which meant lots of waiting around as the queue seemed to take forever to move. It was a good job that the weather was sunny!!!. Having said that a recommended race.

In short: Extremely scenic Race, one to lose yourself in
In full: Fabulous Race with great scenery, only slight niggle was the parking arrangements.
