In short: Water?
In full: Enjoyed the race, nice scenic course, flat, PB potential. Muddy finish, NO WATER anywhere! Give us some water and will be back next year.

In short: Good race at ideal time of year to blow away the cobwebs
In full: This is an enjoyable race in pleasant countryside, and ideal for get movng again after Christmas excess. Lack of toilets at start is a pain, and I would happily forgo the T-shirt for a drink at the finish. The road is congested for the first half mile with cars lining both sides of the street, but they are runners' cars, so the solution to that problem lies in reducing the size of the entry or runners recognising their own responsibilities. I expect it will just remain congested. Overall, a highlight of the winter.

In short: Good race despite a few niggles with organisation - great course
In full: Great course with nice scenery and PB potential. Start a bit congested due to parking on each side of narrow road. Could have done with a few more marshalls on parts of the course, but those who were there did a good job. Expected a water station at the finish but overall good race and good value.

In short: Nice undulating course, pity no drinks at the end.
In full: Very pleasant way to end the year. Undulating course, but no bad ups or downs, well marshalled. Can't understand why there were no drinks at the end, spoilt it a little bit.

In short: Disappointed by the lack of organisation
In full: 3 toilets between 1000 people isn't acceptable. No drinks even at end. Poor time keeping (added 20 secs to my time). Forced to walk through muddy grass at end in road shoes. This is my third entry in a row for this race, the organisation was worst than ever this year and on principle I won't be back.

In short: Scenic course
In full: A popular race - changing rooms and showers available.
Well organised - very good value - my only complaint was that a water station at the end would have been welcome.

Many thanks to the huge number of people who put in an enormous amount of their time to give us runners a great experience.

In short: Could do better
In full: A definite lack of toilets although having got my number, I went back and the queue had disappeared.
The number of runners is an issue or rather the number of cars which narrowed the road to run on at the start and seemed to cause a lot of congestion.
It's a good course with only the first hill much of a problem but then I didn't really have time to warm up.
Annoyed to hear an announcement about showers after I had changed. No signs to them that I saw. Could do with better catering, there seemed to be mostly non-runners in the queue so I went to a cafe-bar near the station.
Wouldn't do it again because I always want to try different events but I would recommend it to others, just leave plenty of time to get to the toilets.
