In short: Great course, perfect weather friendly marshalls
In full: Well 3 of us made the journey from Warwickshire to do this, it was well worth it. With no wind it to me never felt cold at any point,at least 10 of us were in vests and shorts at one point around halfway I felt warm sunshine on my shoulders! Ok the start isn't brill through the estate but it is a fast section, it hurt a bit coming back through at the end. The impatient car driver-well what can you say? All in all a great end to the year with a nice and different momento well done Royston.

In short: Well organised with plenty of facilities and a great trophy and mars bar at the finish. More undulating than I had expected especially last few miles.

In short: Great way to try to run of turkey, roast potatoes, beer, wine, oh and its a great race!
In full: Race which has a little bit of running around the town before going out to the countryside. Lots of hills and they come up very unexpected even when you have done the race 3-4 times before.

Great organisation, shame they moved to the smaller school in the town but what a great trophy I got!

Will continue to do this race every year as Royston Runners are a good organised club and it does help you after Christmas!

In short: Lots of seemingly experienced runners, probably due to time of year.
In full: My first 10mile, and the first time I've run 10 miles without stopping to walk! The hills weren't anything like I had expected. A marshal at the back at the start might have prevented the traffic incident the others have mentioned. Mars bar was nice and memento excellent. Next year I will be faster :)

In short: One of my favourites!
In full: Not sure why but I love this race and have done it every year since 2006. SHOUld really have cancelled this year as had a heavy cold but once I was out in the countryside I felt great...clear head and nose, peace and quiet and although there are a few hills I found the whole thing enjoyable, I wasn`t there to race ( too ill to do that) but treated it as a training run with good company! Can`t wait for next year....

In short: Lovely run on a glorious Winter morning
In full: 4th year running, and great Winter weather - well done for getting the event on. Really enjoyed the run, and blew away those Christmas indulgences!! Thank you.
Minor gripes - change of facilities more cramped, motorist at the start, but really enjoyed the morning, and glad I did it!!

In full: Thanks to Royston for organising an enjoyable race at a difficult time of year. The facilities at the start and refreshments at the end were very good.

The first two miles were a bit dull but the middle section more than made up for it.

A couple of observations - a course profile would have been nice and the instructions sounded quite officious.

Thanks again to the organisers and marshals for a very enjoyable race.

In short: Great marshals, good course and friendly fellow runners!
In full: My second time here, and pleasingly slightly quicker than last year. Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially as I was recovering from Christmas lurgy. Thought the marshals were excellent, and the race director deserves great credit. I'd echo the comments of others about the start and the memento!
