In short: would be quicker in a car
In full: Didn't really enjoy this. Too many people with ipods running, unaware of people coming up behind them (almost had my eye poked out by one of them who decided to stretch as I went past). Too many very sharp bends (4 or 5 bends that went through 90o or more). About as exciting as watching a formula 1 race (I'm not a fan).

In short: Briliant - really enjoyed this and felt good to run on a world famous race circuit
In full: Really enjoyed this run - first time running it. was worried it would get a bit tedious running on a race track but actually really enjoyed it. Would definitely enter again. Organisation was brilliant.

In short: Fast course aided by superb organisation before, during and after the race
In full: I didn't quite manage a PB though this race has all the potential to run one - nice, wide course at the start to let 4500 runners get underway, (mostly) flat route, water and lucozade sport stations just when needed and enthusiastic marshalls all round the course. The goody bag was great, I even like the XL t-shirt (interesting design that actually reflected the event)

In short: awful
In full: Horrible course; horrible weather (cold & windy); Silverstone Nazis on the gate refused entry to dogs even though had phoned in the morning and told dogs were welcome. Twenty min walk to and from start/finish. All in all the least enjoyable half i have done in ten years of running. Avoid!

In short: Great organisation - but long?
In full: Fantastic operation and surprisingly enjoyable course, but my Garmin had the distance at 13.3 miles. It reckoned that the first mile marker was actually at 1.1 miles and it just got worse from there.
