In short: Far hillier than reviews said not PB potential for me
In full: Good organisation ..nice to finish on grass rather than concrete .. found the runners mainly club runners than any 10k I have done previously and not very friendly.. too interested in themselves . Expected hills but the one between 4/5 and near the finish real killer .wont be doing this again though beofre anybody says anything back ..i like a challenge and after taking up running only 4 years ago and taking 61 mins can now do a 10k in 50 mins and that was the percy pud.

In full: A large field of very good runers always guaranteed here. More ups than downs, so not really a PB course. Excellent organisation. The t-shirt seems to have divided people this year, but it made me smile & reminds you of those HILLS!! Prize structure is excellent...for those who are nifty enough on their pins...but pace is fast. More races should follow Barnsley's example with prizes. It keeps us regulars coming back!
Just two gripes. The fellow announcing the winners at the end spoke too quickly & not clearly enough for anyone to hear properly unless you were stood right next to him looking at the results sheet! & lastly, chip times need to be included on the results sheets which are posted out for 50p.

In short: Comfortable if you know whats coming and can plan
In full: The first time I did this, the hills between mile 4 and 6 and especially thr final climb were a bit dispiriting but being able to anticipate them this year made it a bit easier to plan for. Still very tough though
