In short: Very well organised... like clockwork, well done Bicester AC and Alchester RC for a great event

In short: Nice and flat for plodders like me!
In full: My first 10K for many years and was pleased I chose this one. Great encouragement from race officials and organisation was excellent. Found the course very flat so my time was better than anticipated which was very pleasing. Would definitely do again.

In short: My 3rd time at the Andy Reading and a great race as ever!
In full: I missed the announcement about the (very sensible) 30 min delay but everyone else seemed aware so I obviously wasn't listening. A bit of winter sunshine and lots of cheery marshalls made for a fine experience. Bit of a cold but still managed a course best.

In short: Nice with no ice!
In full: Excellent race and first time I have run it. I agree with everyone who says that delaying the race by 30 minutes was a sensible move. Better to be safe than sorry.
I enjoy running around airfields and seem to have done a few recently (Headington 10K and Gosport HM) but the one in this race seemed massive. It was insipring to see the leaders way ahead, but also quite a mental challenge to try and keep the speed up round about the 6km mark when you feel furthest from anywhere.
Well done to the many marshals who were encouraging and helped point out any remaining slippery bits.
Looking forward to entering next year by which time I hope my runners knee has disappeared and I can shave a few seconds off my time.

In short: Woohoo, Personal Best, Great race!
In full: Well, this was my first time doing the event, and I have to say it was a fantastic race. I am biased though as I ran a PB.
The organisation was great, sensibly delaying the start to allow the ice to melt. The sun even came out which meant it wasn't too cold either.
The marshalls did a cracking job, all offering support and encouragement to everyone. Big thanks to you guys!

In short: Marshalling and organisation make this a favourite
In full: I have now run the race three times in the past four years and it gets better and better.

I am impressed by the organisation and marshalls. The delay of 30 minutes showed common sense and was a better choice than the alternative.

I will definitely be back and I disagree with many in regard to the airfield. The track is wide and allows for overtaking and it is a safe environment.

I think I achieved a PB and I await the results with baited breath. I did not find the eace too clubby and the race is run for a worthy cause so all power to the organising committee and team of helpers. Great race

In full: Second time of running, and as others have said, superbly organised - the delayed start allowed the frost/ice to melt and me to get a cup of tea, but still fail to tie my shoelaces correctly!
Yes the airfield is ... an airfield, but it's a good chance to see fellow runners, often ridiculously far ahead. Great race.

In short: Very wise move to delay by 30 mins to save the race being cancelled. Very well ran race, great marshalls and facilities
