In short: Superb - great introduction to half-marathoning
In full: This was my first half marathon and I loved every minute. Good support all the way - even along the long Portway stretch, plenty of drinks, good organisation (do yourself a favour - when they tell you where to start based on your time, follow the instructions - it will make your start less frustrating if you are running with people of the same speed). Only one down side - not enough toilets at the start made me ALMOST miss the starting gun.

In short: Difficult to imagine a better urban HM.
In full: Organisers - go to the Reading HM and note the awe-inspiring line-up of portable crappers; copy it and Bristol will have the perfect big city HM.

In short: Excellent event, thoroughly enjoyed it.
In full: Despite previous comments would consider the 'hills' to be more like banks. Plenty of feed stations and sponges were a life saver. Brilliant support on the course. Keep up the good work Bristol, see you next year. Thanks!

In short: I would describe as flat course, okay there is a gentle slope up the Portway, with a couple of short 'hills' in the centre of Bristol at c.12 miles. Quick times achiveable.
